I didn't realize this was about the father and not Cece. I really loathe parents that insert themselves into this and make this about them.

If Cece doesn't feel right about the coaching situation at UF then that's fine, but it should not be about his father's relationship with the coaches.

You loathe it? How do you know that his father doesn't want him away from bad local influences or something similar?

smells like something of that nature. Probably an Auburn alum throwing some last minute monies, so now Leo decides to make an issue of the coaching. Stay away from the kid, LSU

OTOH...you're supposed to be commited. Just sign the letter and send it in lol
Exactly. That is some punk shite. Why commit if he wasn't going to just sign and fax it in right after? Seems like he and the old man have some serious character issues to me. Downvote me. Don't care. If your word ain't worth shite, there's a good chance that you aren't worth much more.

when Chavis left but got Key. I think Hunter was staying another year with no coaching changes and Kwon too.

Year after year of attrition to the NFL, and this is the year Chavis was going to get guys to stay in school. Mmmmkaaaaay.

And with Kwon's injury issues - the smart thing for him to go was to go now. I hate it because the kid was the brightest spot on the defense the past couple of seasons, but I would advise him to go pro now.

Hunter is a little different, but DEs are going to get DE money. He'll dazzle them at the combine (other than on the scale) and he'll be alright.

Na man, Chavis sold Hunter on getting 2 whole sacks next season and he was ready to stay, but without Chavis' scheme there was no guarantee that Hunter would be able to improve on the 1.5 sacks he had in 2014 so he made the decision to leave...

Not to hijack the thread but Kwon made a bad decision. Danielle's decision is more understandable even if I would have bet on myself more if I were Hunter.

a la cam newton. auburn has a history and the ncaa swept it under the rug because cam "didn't know about it". this shite has to stop. this time around, the ncaa needs to step up for the sake of the game.

Yes I do if his hesitation on Cece's commitment to UF is because he feels slighted by the UF coaching staff. However, if he was trying to get Cece away from some element at UF, why would he have been pro-UF this whole time?

Somewhere out there, Billy Gomilla is still bitching about how bad we have it with Florida being the toughest cross divisional rival.

Meanwhile, Uga is still good and Tennessee is getting better.

I told you bellyachers that the cross divisional rivals' strengths are cyclical.

It was about 7 or 8 articles on and thevalleyshook.com about how we are getting screwed......same subject: numerous articles. It was rather embarrassing. There are probably more to come, too. Sometimes objectivity is a good thing in "journalism". What a bitch.

If anyone cares, his dad is actually Leo Lewis II, not Leo Jefferson.

Leo played at Mizzou and in the NFL and CFL. His dad (Leo), also played in the CFL.

This happens far more than people know. Assistant coach takes another job and announces it the day after NLI day. It happened at Ohio State, Florida, and a couple others last week.

If CeCe was going to Florida because a defensive line coach being part of the reason then you can blame them. Elwin basically lied or at best held the truth away away from CeCe and his dad.

To me the issue was never UF. It was Bama magically got to play the bottom tier east teams 2 yrs in a row while we played uga, sc etc.

The NCAA is neutered. We are in the age of dollar billz like never before. There is is a reason Auburn had a ridiculous class, and it ain't the scenic town. Pay or be left behind.

I hope coach O is in contact with them. I know it's an unlikely shite we get him though.

In same interview that OP quoted Leo said most everyone has been back in contact with his son and UF was the last one to reach out and see what was going on.
