Possibly. But that argument was ALWAYS coupled with UF being our constant rival and how the complainers wanted that nixed.

Gomilla was constantly being called out for perpetual bitching about UF being a stronger perennial rival than UT to Alabama.....even by his own cohorts at the website he writes for. It became a nauseating article that repeated weekly.

Well now, look. UGA and Tennessee has and will provide a tougher match for Bama/Aub than UF for LSU.


Again, you are correct that the other two cross-div games may have been in Alabama's favor (like say, vandy and UK), but Florida was always at the crux of the argument......daily, it seemed.
