Lacy not going to Bama?

I'll bring this up while there are a few Bama posters on. Word going around is he "lost his scholarship". Was supposed to room with Sentimore and Kenny Bell. Will that room be completely vacant come fall? I said on here early that I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed close to home. Now, it looks like he could be headed to ULL. I figured the few Cajuns on here would be interested. It's not official but that's what's being talked about.

The only one of those three that I regret losing is Sentimore. I think he is good kid but just confused.

he was declared "Learning Disabled" by bama and had someone read his ACT to him (and give him the answers) and taking 3 correspondence courses (or should I say someone is taking the classes for him).

there will be more defections/reassignments to new positions (forcing out) etc b/w now and August when freshmen report and the 25 deadline kicks in. bama is over the limit. i don't know the exact number but it is between 5-10 IIRC.

I didn't even notice. I was just about to start a thread about the influx of new posters on this board, a large percentage of those having sub 100 post counts, and then I saw this tread. Had the blinders on.

Look at where the poster is from. Hometown location isn't instant credibility, but it explains how he could hear possibly true information on a recruit/player.

Stupid rumor. Lacy is working hard in summer school trying to qualify for Bama. If he doesn't make it, he will be placed in Prep or JUCO. Bell is already on campus working, and Sentimore is close. We knew Lacy and Sentimore would come down to the wire, so this is no surprise. Even if neither of them qualify, Bell can room with Robby Green(new starting FS on a top 5 D) and Luther Davis(first DL off the bench on a top 5 D). If Lacy and/or Sentimore make it in--that's just icing on the cake. These Louisiana boys are working out great for us.
