Let's see if Tennessee "accepts his commitment" considering he reportedly wasn't that impressive today.
That's what idiots like Cajun61 don't understand. Orgeron can throw out offers to 10,000 kids all across the nation and later on pull those offers for whatever reason. He did that every year at Ole Miss as you'd see 10 guys mysteriously drop off their commit list every January.
LSU can't offer an in-state guy and then pull it if they discover that he's not a great prospect. Hence, why LSU waits to fully evaluate the kid before offering. If LSU offers a Louisiana kid and then he commits, they sure as heck can't drop his commitment later on like Ogre can!
On the other hand, LSU can offer some random receiver from Iowa knowing full well that the kid isn't going to commit right then. Many of these offers aren't "commitable offers", they are simply offers to peak the kid's interst. If LSU evaluates him more and decides that they really like the prospect, then that's when the offer actually means something.
Maybe Cajun61 will understand how the recruiting process works one day, although I doubt it based on how stupid his posts are.
