Basically exactly what he is.

You make it seem like that is a bad thing. Shyrone was a very good back @ LSU until injuries and questionable personal decisions did him in.

Books, you hit the nail on the head. Any kid that can dominate the competition throughout his career (especially in the Miami Dade area) is gonna be a player at the college level.

He is the 6th rate All Purpose Back..

Rivals divides rankings up for running backs.

1 for RB, 1 for APB, and 1 for FB...

I like the Pickup .. he reminds me a brandon James type player.. I hope he can be a return man for LSU..

Trindon was a great speedster but too awhile for him to read blocks and wait for thinks to open up..

I think Gore has "SKYLER-like" speed and moves..

Welcome aboard

Great to get a recruit out of Miami. Not so great that The U didn't want him. If he's that good, I don't care how many backs you've already got, you don't turn your back on a very good back in your hometown.

His size and lack of speed is not coveted by some schools.Maimi is in a different direction with their program and he did not fit.We were looking for a back with his skills, therefore we take him.He does have good quickness and to me that's more important than speed. How many times to rb's really get to run full speed? He has enough to go the distance if he breaks loose and that's enough.

Watching his highlights on Espn, he shows that quick read and burst like the freshman running back at Pitt...Everyone likes Gore, they just question his size..ok with me, give me backs like oregon and oregon st. and the pitt back all day..

Looking at that video, I'm assuming Columbus is a large classification school, he was impressive.
For his size, I was impressed with his inside running, he has good lateral movement. Reminds me a little of Dalton Hilliard as far as lateral moves to avoid tackles. He is not shy on contact either. LSU got a steal on this one!

We don't need LS, cause we have Hill and Hillard coming next year.

Who currently in College Football does he resemble? Jaquiz Rogers from Oregon St, Noel Devine from WV. Just curious.

Yeah, I like him alright. I think it spells the end for Lache, but hopefully Gore will really turn out to be the next Hester. Jacob Hester that is.

His highlight video looks impressive to me. Very shifty with quick cuts. I think that McCluster and J. Rodgers on OSU have shown that small/quick can work VERY well.
I loved to see Gore or Calhoun as the sweep guy with RS as the receiver of the snap in the Wildcat, hopefully our new OC will explore the potential.

Welcome aboard Mr. Gore. I think he's the change of pace back that we need.

12 ypc and 29 TDs in Dade County (6A) which is arguably the highest concentration of HS talent in the nation.
