How did we pluck Gore from Miami? Whats his ties here, if any?
Posted on 12/9/09 at 11:23 am to Big Fat
miami didn't offer.........but some others did.

Miami didn't offer with already having clements, Storm, and one other back.
So, basically, that's how.

Is he comparable to a Shyrone Carey? Small and compact without top end speed but really great quickness.

Hell yeah!
I'll take a stud RB from the Miami region any day of the week.
Even though that region produced TONS of star athletes out of high school, they still consistently produce even more underrated star college athletes. Seems like every stud from the Big East/ACC comes from the South Florida Region.
We need to keep that connection going.

Great to get a recruit out of Miami. Not so great that The U didn't want him. If he's that good, I don't care how many backs you've already got, you don't turn your back on a very good back in your hometown. Didn't his dad go to the U also?

tell me how he is the 31st running back on scout and the 6th running back on rivals??
I know there is room for error, but come on. That is pretty bad.
blue is ranked ahead of him on scout. I know, i know, rankings don't matter. But it still gives you a general feeling of a back.
