Great pickup given the type of offensive line we have...in other words he can make the first man miss, which is a necessity since he will likely be facing pressure immediately.

Rivals has him 5-10 170.

Like i said in another thread, when addai left here he was listed 6-0 205. Nfl has him 5-11 215. IF gore can catch the ball at all like addai i will be very happy. Lets hope he can gain weight without loss of speed.

ESPN rates him 3 stars, saying he is elusive scat back type, but the video on ESPN is 'just' running through enormous holes, straight ahead. No moves. Nothing cute.

It's safe to say, LS will not be an LSU Tiger, even though he would be the most talented RB in this class.

BUT we still have a very solid RB class despite this.

Welcome aboard Jakhari.

Gore's Career Football Statistics
OFFENSE STATISTICS RUSHING
YEAR ATT YDS TDS
2006/2007 75 591 7
2007/2008 114 1106 13
2008/2009 148 1156 15
2009/2010 152 1813 29
TOTALS 489 4666 64

1000 yard rusher 3 years in a row in that district is extremely impressive.

After watching Christine Michael this year, I'm glad the staff didn't dick up landing a good recruit like they did last year waiting on Richardson.

A Miami board I go to every now and then was pretty complimentary of Gore and think it was a mistake not offering him. Most people that were against taking him were only because Miami has 3 RB's already.

Had the typical feel of any good in-state player that doesn't get an offer pretty much.

I like what I've seen from Gore and hopefully our new OC (trusting in belowpar) knows how to use him.

Miami fans seem pissed they took Storm over him.

So, we have 3 RBs in this class and plan to sign 2 more next year? That's too many for 2 classes imho.

Blue could play WR, Gore is nothing like the other backs, a situational RB/slot/return guy. Losing three RBs this year, it makes sense.
