The A&M situation has nothing to do with LSU or can be comparable. They took like 36 commits knowing full well 3 or 4 would never make it to campus, and the fact they would be losing guys to the draft. If u look at what the "experts" say, while they do have some great players the class has 4 or 5 guys that are not SEC West caliber. Also without the sheer numbers there class is not very good, IMO. They did get Noel Ellis who I think is very good.

If getting CamRob means having to get Sims, go for it. I'd rather get the La kids and sacrifice an OOS prospect. We need Cam.

How far out would we be able to stretch these guys out assuming we were somehow able to take all of them?

Doubt any of them would accept a greyshirt, so with redshirts and early draftees....

just wondering if we're gonna see somebody get buried on the depth chart

LSU is taking three WRs in this class and they already have two. Noil is the third WR but he will be given the chance to play DB if he wants to. Noil may get the ATH tag and if he signs with LSU they figure out his position later. He really can't go wrong on either side of the ball

Dupre would be the next priority if noil goes somewhere else or decides he prefers to play CB. Cameron wants big WRs that can run clean routes and block down field

Quinn will likely end up at TTU when it is all said and done

Btw saw Quinn today at the 4A state title game. He is 5'11, not even close to 6'1

Word around Barbe is Quinn really likes Kingsbury and TTU is pulling out all the stops on recruiting him.

TAMU has completely dropped recruiting Quinn and LSU has softened on recruiting him now with Cameron running the LSU offense

Damn I'd hate to see Quinn go anywhere but LSU but at least he'd go outside the SEc

Quinn's college projection is working the middle of the field from the slot. He fits perfectly with okie state and TTU. He is fast but not run away from you fast. He has off the charts ball skills. He wants to play in an offense where he could see 10 targets a game. That is probably not LSU under Cameron. Cameron will want to throw it 30 times not 60 times a game.

Cameron also has a different WR philosophy than what we are used to. Especially with everyone in the SEC looking for 6'0+ DBs that are physical at the LOS. some of mett's consistency problems are WRs that can't consistently get away from press and can't run free from zone. Cam wants big WRs matched up on safeties as much as possible to make easier throws for the QB. Expect to see the TE get used a ton by LSU under Cameron.

A national recruit would push it to four WRs but as of now (it's only may) their target is three WRs with Noil being a bit of a position widcard. Just penciling him in at WR is not accurate.

Williams isnt a sure thing, and even if he gets to campus, he is a JUCO.

LSU has 4 other HS WR's on their board(maybe 5) that are better than Upchurch. If any of those guys want to come to LSU, then they take them.

Trey Quinn right now is better than any of them. Dupre has the most upside, but simply isn't on Quinn's level right now. LSU would be stupid to go cold on him.

I think he is LSU's to lose. He has a ton of former teammates(both baseball and fooball) that will be on campus.
