PC probably. Even on ps4 pro i have to choose between the higher resolution or better lighting effects, pc u can probably get both

Only reason i went ps4 was for 4k and my cpu wouldn't run it as well anyway

They absolutely aren't needed. People jumped into a hate frenzy when they heard about them. These micros dont even save u a lot of time, i get legendary drops so frequently just playing the game i would never buy them. I havent started leveling up my army yet but i guess if u really hate that part u could buy crates

I feel like playing on keyboard vs controller loses a good bit of the fun

Is there anyway to pan out on the character a little bit? The toon takes up too much of the screen and the camera angles get a bit wonky. Just wish the toon was slightly smaller and we could see a little more around us.

Is there a time limit to get along to doing the main story?

Will Minas Ithil fall if I spend 20 hours running around killing orcs? Or can I take my sweet time to move the story along?

Good. I assumed there wasn't a clock unless you actually see time ticking down like they have for some of the radiant quests.

Lot more orcs than last game and lot more named orcs everywhere. Real easy to just run around murdering everything without having a clue where to go. well, until your dead when you run into a level 15.

I am a bit perturbed. One guy killed me 2 times. I finally got him alone and had him about to die. He taunted me. I had to press a button for the finishing blow and evidently I was too slow. He simply disappeared. WTF? Not ran away, he up and .... poof... gone.

One thing I know. My weekend is wrecked. I'll be staying up late, waking up early and doing nothing productive other than obliterating orcs.

I think when all is said and done this damn crossbow guy will be able to kill Sauron because he is so strong from defeating me a million times.

Have to stop trying vendetta against him cause now it isn't remotely possible.

Great. Ran into him again. That is it. I really need to learn to run run run.

No idea how to do this.

After doing everything in the first area and killing a pile of folks, I ran into my old pal alone with just a couple of minions. Blew them up, then when I attacked, 3 good guys happened by which distracted the crossbow guy. Totally destroyed his arse and it was very satisfying.

Figured out I was a moron. I wasn't paying attention on the finishing kill. I didn't realize you need to wait for the circle to shrink THEN press the right button.

For the micro transaction haters, I see zero reason to be pissed. I got a nice gold loot box with 2 legendary items from doing one of the online vendettas.

Also, it is obvious they actually INCREASED the loot drop for this game. I went forever in the first game without changing out items. Now I constantly get new better items.

I don't like that Shelob is hot.

I'm surprised more folks on here aren't playing. The game so far has improved on the first. Hard at times but fun. I was thinking I was Mr Big Nuts when I killed my Crossbow jerk then I ran into a chief with what appeared to be no weaknesses.

Tip 1 - INTEL IS IMPORTANT

I couldn't damage the guy at all. He wasted a graug and pack of caragors I dropped on him. Fire did nothing. Finally looked around the area until I could get some intel on the bastard... found his weakness and he was too easy. Take the time to get some good intel.

Only downside of this game so far is my damn thumbs hurt like hell.

Trying to get used to it with a controller so I can play from bed on Steam Link. I've always played with M/KB, so I'm used to the left/right click combat, being able to manipulate the camera quickly, and aiming with a mouse. I don't know if I'll ever be able to aim with a controller.

I'm addicted to online vendetta and online seige. I built up my army in the first area available and basically quit playing the story stuff just to lay seige.

Got like 30 gold chests to open

Just wish I could kill the first part of the vendetta a little faster. Oh and I had one glitch on a vendetta. Open caragor cages but opened them all and it never spawned the boss. That is the only glitch to this point.

I haven't gotten to the siege yet. Did everything in the first area. Now I am just about done with the second area. I assume the main quest in the 2nd area opens up the siege.

I really hope they didn't bite themselves on the arse with the loot chest transaction, because this is a great game but word of mouth on the transactions can kill a game.
