This could mean 9970 might be closer than expected. We could see 4960X(which will be cheaper @ $990) and 9970s in September!

Maybe, these drivers are supposed to fix micro-stuttering in crossfire and create a more consistent frame times.
I read earlier that they actually might not release them until tomorrow.

Yes you are correct, but the consesius within the PC community have always felt new AMD cards would launch with these drivers. With all this information sharing, leaks now a days are pretty close to the truth.

Well the new line of cards aren't too far away but i think they were under a lot of pressure to release these drivers and fix crossfire ASAP.

So one of the aforemention 7970 fixes had an effect. I reseated the card and power cables and kept the HDMI in. I set it to sleep last night and turned it on before I left this morning and it came right up.

Yeah, all my mobile devices (MBP, MBA and iPhone) since.. idk forever. So just never used Andriod before and when I did try on other ppl's phone it was junk IMO.
Now I was tempted to buy a Google Play Edition S4 but decided on waiting for the 5S this September. This new Nexus 7 is awesome and has an amazing display 1920x1200!

Same here. Been an iPhone user since the first iPhone, and currently own a 3rd gen iPad. Tested several and the iPad was by far the smoothest, cleanest experience, which is what I need from my mobile devices. I never buy them with the intent to replace a real PC.
But that was over a year ago, and I'm seeing greater things out of Android today. My next phone upgrade is in April 2014, so we'll see.

QNIX QX2710 27" 1440p monitor $269 free shipping.
It's the matte version, though. I don't know how I'd like it compared to the glossy. And the perfect pixel version is $40 more. But here's the link anyhow.

Saw that. How does the glossy handle light? I'm not talking direct light but just a room with lights on or something to that effect.
Posted on 8/1/13 at 3:42 am to Mr Gardoki
I didn't find lighting to effect it that much. I would get that same monitor again without a doubt

I have read about light concerns but I figure it's probably just like an ipad screen or plasma tv, right?
