Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update is now out, updating right now, pretty major update and takes a bit (3 reboots during install). Around 10 minutes to update.

I plan on getting a second down the line but the overclock headroom in the reviews is promising for when people can throw a block on there.

Can someone help me with a new laptop? I am looking to spend around $500-$600.

At a minimum I would like a 15" screen and SSD.

I am absolutely flooded with choices when searching amazon and have absolutely no idea how to separate the good from the decent.

TIA!

Really the only reason I'm probably not getting 2 is for the GP100 with HBM2 card in probably Q3-16 to Q2-17.

Always throw a block on it. Not just for OC but for audibles. Can not stand GPU fans.

Yeah they already have waterblocks announced looking forward to grabbing one. It will be my first attempt at liquid cooling.

Need fittings and tubing? Also have EK D5 pumps and res. They are from 2013 but have not been used much since I upgraded to AquaComputer parts a few months later.

Search for RationalThinking in OCN for pics. It's late 2012 or early 2013 I believe. I'll sell for cheap.

Was thinking my Fury with 3 fans was going to be bad but apparently it's more silent compared to a dual fan system. Honestly my case fans make more noise than the card. Overall my whole system makes less noise than my PS4 winch is amazing considering I'm running 4 case fans, 3 GPU fans and a cpu fan.

I love this thing

Down the line possibly. Still need to get a new ssd and the 2nd card before I start the water-cooled build.

You want blocks before 2 blower style coolers on a 300W card. Fckk the noise, literally.

My main rig is in a CaseLabs Merlin. They are made for water cooling so the noise suppression isn't there. Now my Fractal Design cases are all jam up with noise suppression.

So I'm essentially a newbie to OC'ing but both GPU-z and Afterburner have my clock at 1784 but heaven has it at 1911. Why is that?

What does GPU-Z show while Heaven is actually running?

That was while it was running. I just assumed it was Heaven's error because Afterburner had the same clock. Set my core clock to +150 and it seems stable. Was able to get a 7k firestrike ultra score and passed the firestrike ultra stress test. Is 80 degrees Celsius under extended load okay?

Thought I'd post this in here...

Is there a way with this new Windows 10 anniversary update to prevent Microsoft from collecting any of my data?

I really don't like this basic, enhanced, or full data option sent to Microsoft.

I'd rather have it completely off.

I don't think so. It's terrible. One reason I hate W10. It would be great if all that shtt was turbed off and they wouldn't force apps on you.
