If motherboard makers want to be truly innovative with the aesthetics, make all of the color trim fully modular, not just a stupid light gimmick. That way I won't have to paint heat spreaders or pass on perfectly good motherboards because I don't want to be stuck with red/blue/yellow/etc.

Well everyone knows my preferred color scheme, and white lights wouldn't be so bad with it. Just not something I'd deliberately seek out. Even if I don't do a black/silver setup again, I'd still want muted colors.

Yeah, I've been doing it for the past 3-ish years almost exclusively. Can be a bit depressing sometimes when I don't leave the house for the entire week and look in the mirror and realize I haven't shaved in over a week. The best part about it is being able to wake up at the time I'd normally arrive to work, or sleeping a little later if I'm in the middle of a project involving people on the west coast.

I was thinking about ordering a Titan X but it doesn't look like the performance gain is worth the money over the 980Ti. Am I correct on this?

We'll see how major, but yeah I'm waiting for Skylake to upgrade my CPU. August 5th needs to hurry up, got my DDR4 ram in yesterday ready to go.

Yep. There's like a 1-5% difference in gaming performance. Not even Coyote could justify it.
