What would be better a better choice: a single GTX 980 or a double GTX 970 SLI'd?

Three monitor setup (1920x1080). Possible 4k upgrade in the near future.

Neither. Wait for June for a 390X with HBM.

Hmmm. I can do that. Is it going to be in that same $550-700 price range?

Yeah, likely in the upper end of that range. Should be a great 4K card.

I think I am just going to get one of the Samsung 850s. Not sure whether the 120 or 250.

Do it. I have two of the 250GB EVO. Very fast and the included disk cloning software is top notch. I used on two different systems without a hitch.

Built my mom a computer as a test run before I built my own (Still tweaking parts here and there on mine). Put a 256gb Pro on there and it's phenomenal. I got it on some Newegg sale for ~$130.

I have a crucial m550 on my personal computer and it runs great too, but I don't think they even sell them anymore.

I have one of those too in my gaming rig.
I have the 128GB M550, a 250GB EVO 850 and a 1 TB WD Blue HDD. If you benchmark them, the EVO is slightly faster but nothing you would ever notice in real world usage.

The other 250GB EVO is in my wife's laptop.

Does your H1Z1 use around 4GB of RAM after a little while of playing? I've read it has memory leak issues like PS2 did which makes sense Alpha and all, but holy shite, after an hour or so of playing my 8GB system shows 97% ram usage, and when my game freezes I know it's because it's at 100% ram usage.

fricking annoying, about to just upgrade to 16GB and call it a day.

I'm fairly certain I have a memory leak issue within 8.1. I have tried a couple of the quick google fixes to no avail. Tried a regedit of Nbu start value from 2 to 4, and uninstall/reinstalling the latest network driver. It's starting to cause issues with playing almost any game, getting up to 85%+ ram usage and causing lag in game.

Task manager is showing 60% RAM usage but what it shows is nowhere near that much, add in a chrome tab or two open and it sits at about 70%, this is with nothing else being opened by me outside of a couple of very small programs. Is there a program that will show more than task manager does? Bios and sysinfo is showing the full 8GB working with no issues, also ran a Windows memory diagnostic test...no issues. After a fresh boot with only chrome open...28% ram usage.
