I went with Nord because of my white privilege, that means I can't do pretty much any build right?

Nords get a bonus as well to starting one-handed. As far as builds, races have much less effect than in other RPGs (or even other elder scrolls games). Since the skills level up based on use, you can easily shift what skills you want to focus on. The only issue is leveling up non combat skills can leave you somewhat underpowered relative to your opponents early on.

I need to do some mod research as well and make those decisions.

Just reading about how they overcompressed the audio with the new version so it doesn't sound as good. People are turning on Bethesda much quicker than they used to, not that it isn't a valid complaint.

I'm on original PC version. I just need to decide which ones I want.

Sneak is fun, but I feel like it breaks the game if you get it too high.

Definitely, my favorite character was sneak/1 h/illusion/alteration. It was almost too easy. Sneak and dagger attack, if that doesn't kill the enemy then pacify and turn invisible and do it again.

I bought skyrim and the dlc for PC, a month +_ ago for $12.99. So i was able to get Skyrim SE on pc for free.

I paid 59.99 for Xbone

PC Skyrim SE, isn't really worth it right now. The Modders will need to figure out the new creation kit.

Also Nexxus will have a mod page for just SE mods, and the guy who created Mod manager, joined Nexxus, to make Nexxus Mod Manager the real deal.

Once the modders get the kits and are able to use the higher end graphics with their mods, the game will pop,

Dloading some mods for xbone now.

A must have is "Alternative start". it's a great way to play the game.

How the hell are they selling a 5 year old game for 60 bucks? I get that it has all the new addons and whatnot, but still seems like a rip off

Just fired it up, downloaded about 20ish mods. And Alternative start fired up immediately.

Giddy, but hoping no mod crashes.

It's aggressive pricing, notice they only charge $40 on PC.

Mods for the game + Updated graphics + All 3 Dlc is what they feel the 59.99 is worth.

I think its worth it on console, because w/no mods, skyrim was vanilla. these mods already giving the game a different look.

the lanterns on the roads is great

just hope the immersive guys do the armor, weapons, creatures, and horse mods. those are really good.

I just don't like the idea of breaking the game. It takes the fun out of it. Bethesda should have done a better job balancing the mechanics to prevent this.

loved Skyrim, but I think I'm going to wait for the price to drop.

This... I don't usually finish games like this due to lack of time and didn't finish it the first time BEFORE kids. But it's fun as hell and wouldn't mind playing it a couple times/month if it were cheap.

it might be best just to chill and let the modders do their work.

w/o the monster mods/armor/weapon mods, its the same ol vanilla skyrim i played 2k+ hours of.

sitting back letting mods do their work, 5-10 daily being created or ported.
