If you have Amazon prime they sell it for $47.99. fricking love this game. Started playing yesterday on the special edition. Sucks having to redo some quests and shite but oh well, game is fun as ever.

It's been fun for me so far. I play 30 minutes, stop and install a new mod, then play some more I see where people were do frustrated with Fallout 4. I loved it but now that I have played skyrim I can see how Fallout was basically updated skyrim in a new setting.

I make the most boring characters. Just a huge middle-aged white guy that looks like Ned Stark and carries the biggest weapon he can find

I was a nord because why be some weirdo and I didn't even change the look. I just don't care for that stuff. I'm wearing armor anyway so I can't even tell.

I actually only recently started playing Fallout 4 as well so I am in a huge pile of unproductive mud between playing Skyrim and Fallout. My old Skyrim characters are on PS3 and PC so I am having to redo a lot of stuff, but I just love it. I wish I could take a week off of work and just play this stuff alone.

One big thing I noticed about the updated PS4 version I am playing is that the control of your horse is so much better, more fluid and less rigid movement if that makes sense.

I feel like the storyline for Skyrim in particular makes more sense if you are a Nord.

I love the use of Nordic terminology and mythology in games like this and the Witcher III, although it is just used loosely, but it is pretty cool (i.e. having Jarls and shite).

I usually go to one of the character presets and then slightly alter it from there.

I don't get that invested in a character to care too much, but I do want to make sure they don't look completely stupid. I've made a few where I just clicked whatever, and after I started playing, "this is what I'm going to look at the rest of the game? fuuuuuuuuuuuu"

What are some good skills to increase for a straight up two handed weapon warrior type? I have been doing heavy armor, two handed weapons, and smithing.

Block
One-handed
Two-handed
Heavy Armor
Smithing
That's the warrior set.

Did they remove the giant attack outside of Whiterun at the beginning of the game? I didn't see it on my way there at the beginning of the game in the special edition.

No, it's there. If you don't get to it fast enough, they'll kill the giant themselves.

yeah, and then the chick with green face paint begins to badger you about doing nothing.
i was like, u know what, fu, i was 200 yards away, with a sword and a shield. What was i going to do? i ran as fast as i could, and u still killed him long before i arrived.
I'll give her another hand across the face.
I hope they bring over automatic crossbows. lol, they were OP, but fun as hell.

As has been pointed out in the thread, sneak breaks the game probably faster than anything.
It pretty much goes like this:
Max sneak, have a decent 1H skill level, acquire a non-shitty dagger, and get the gloves from the Dark Brotherhood for the ludicrous multiplier.
Next thing you know, you're 1-shotting giants with a butter knife.
I know this because I play a stealth type/assassin role in basically any RPG I pick up.
Sneak breaks Fallout 3/NV/and to a lesser extent 4 as well.
