Switches to dual Katanas. So much fun weaving between stances and carving people up. Combining into sign of the cross is so satisfying.
Main missions for 2nd half of the game are 100x better. Still replaying the same shitty side mission maps tho

How many main areas are there? I just got to the 3rd one and can feel my desire to continue playing diminishing. I gave up on the submissions because I'm over leveled and not finding better loot. All my best gear came from fighting higher leveled revenant

I'm at a similar point. I have a completionist mentality, so I've been doing all of the side missions. I need to skip some of them to avoid it feeling tedious or easy. Those missions are there to help you get over the story humps and makes a really well paced game not as enjoyable imo.

Bloodborne and Souls are better games - I don't know if I could do that for any boss in any of those games. Blind, win, first try.

the only one i thought was absurd was the 60 blacksmith favor. Used the mash talk exploit for about 45 min and got it.

To be fair, I think you were kinda lucky at points lol.
Also, you can stop yourself from falling by pressing "X" and rolling back onto the platform.

well of course I was, it was my first and only time fighting him, there was some luck involved
Beat my first Twilight mission last night... while hard - it wasn't anything earth shattering. I was actually kinda shocked I beat it with only dying about 3 times in all

We're in the same boat together.
Even though I've been waiting for Nier a lot longer, I forced myself to beat Nioh first. I'm currently paused right before the boss in Sawayama Castle. So I'm 2-3 hours away from beating it, I'd expect.
