100% true. case in point, i struggle with father gascoigne every playthrough of Bloodborne even though he's the 2nd boss. ive never figured out all his werewolf moves and i feel lucky every time i win.
on the other hand, Ebrietas, who a lot of people struggle with, gets pwnd by me. i can beat her without getting hit most of the time.
different playstyles and builds yield a wide variety of interesting things

Ah, I only played the Alpha, so I only saw the boss on the boat. I can definitely see how that would be helpful.

This is exactly what I'm referring to. I beat Father Gassy first attempt every time. I've never died to him once.

hes another one that was kinda a letdown for me. just wish the bosses had more moves. maybe teh twilight missions will give them alternate or extended movesets

i havent died to him in some time, but like i said, im not comfortable fighting him and i always feel lucky
didnt have the music box my first go-round and he fricked up me up for an afternoon
