Sign of the Cross, which is the dual sword equivalent, is my best move also.

For dual swords, I start in medium, do one combo in high stance, and then switch back to medium for either another combo or blocking.

If I tried to do all of that I would be dead. No way I could do that against anything but trash mobs.

I'm with auron on this one. Loving switching on the fly. Once you get in that flow state you feel unstoppable. The low stance jump slash combo followed with 2 mid stance quick attacks and a high stance strong attack is lethal.

I am not saying it isn't at all. Just too much input for me in the middle of a combo. I don't even get how you stagger any strong enemy enough to be able to pull that all off.

omg, in order to learn all of this stuff I ended up overleveling myself, now I feel like I need to start over because I'm in the first "side-mission" at level 16, like wtf?!?! I hope I don't stay overleveled for too long, I hate being overleveled in this games

I don't stagger em (unless they're human), just dodge behind them

The sub missions are generally very short, compared to the story missions.

I'm almost at the point where I just sprint through them to find the enemy I'm supposed to kill at the end. Tired of the same maps

Nah, once you get to region 3 or farther your level will catch up.

Yea that was my point. Those human ones are no issue, no need to switch stances. One full medium combo and they fall over with the roundhouse. Then sign of cross, then ground stab. Dead.

As for the stronger enemies, I am attacking then dodge ki pulsing out.

Made it to the giant centipede boss and took a break. Like their little rendition of blighttown / Black Gulch.

Indeed. Spitting statues come in a bit too. The level where you fight the first Tachibana is like Sen's

You can dodge/move during ki pulse with skills. For some enemies it obviously wouldn't work, but for the tougher "Onis" or human combatants, it works for me. That or you use a rapid attack with dual swords or a spear to break that ki/guard.

Yea I know, I do it all the time.

I just finished the ninja palace. Enjoyed it, boss was probably the easiest yet for me. That and the spider.

Mystery didn't get on last night until I had already jumped off, so I had to play by myself. I'm real excited to report that I actually killed some things without getting carried.
