I'll have little LAN games at my house sometimes with 2-3 friends.

Even when it is 2 of us it takes forever

You can set turn timers but they get really annoying late game

If you want to war, Japan is the only option. That passive is redonk.

Japan is amazing to play with. The passive and samurais just bring the pain to everyone in their way

Sounds like I need to try Japan next.

So I learned last night...you can sell shitty cities you take as a warmonger to other civs.

Idea is to take cities, sell them to random civs, put enemies next to each other and watch them go to war over 1 population cities 100 tiles away

Can't wait to do this. No more rebellions from over expansion and unhappiness

I was playing a Civ 2 game once, when the purple civ re-spawned late in the game as India. Gandhi came to me begging me to help him because the evil Zulus (I think--might be wrong on which civ) were threatening his peaceful civilization. I rush-built a nuke and gave it to him. I then received a traveler's report saying the war between the Zulus and Indians had ended

get it at a steam sale. i think it was 5 bucks last sale

i think for all the dlc and the game it was 12

Turn timers can take care of the players taking too long, but the lag in-between turns in MP is unreal.
