Inventory record accuracy
My thinking was you had some problems before the conversion, but you could manage through them. With the new system's BOM errors, you're not sure what's happening.

We did, when I closed inventory we would have +9 million and -8.95 million entries, but they worked out with the close. But the conversion issue with the special characters was across the board, they were in the vendor, customer, etc., files.

Luckily the Plant VP is responsible for it so he takes the heat, but I have the stress of figuring it out.

I love it. And the more you can tune material masters, the better your system reflects what's really happening. With the right monitoring programs, you could close a month with virtually no adjustments.

Macola doesn't have a "inventory close" process like our old system, once we get it nailed down things should be fine, but we have to find all the shite Axapta fricked up and fix it. Each close we find and fix things so it's getting better.

That's good. I couldn't imagine dealing with lingering issues for months on end.
If I'm leading an implementation, IT and other support will hate me. I'm very specific with what I expect, and they certainly aren't flipping a switch and bailing.
