I do the main story and the convenient extras, then do a completionist run.

I feel like I remember you saying your first run was less than 30 hours.

If I did two runs my first one was about that, it's been a while since I played. I have been in the middle of an ERP conversion for the last 7 months and gaming is a release but I don't remember what I did or didn't do.

This is my 1st conversion, we went from Axapta 3.0 which is about 10 years old to Exact Macola 10, Maccola leaves out some basic features that should be standard like getting back dated perpetual inventory and accrued purchases, but it's a lot better than what we were on. Before this I worked on custom systems for a bank, pet food manufacturer, deutsche bank, Peachtree, and Quickbooks.

When we pulled data from the Axapta tables it inserted funky characters in the data and made the data conversion a bitch, it also dumped a lot of our inventory costs and quantities.

I've never liked dumping from one to another. The data tables are never consistent. I'd rather extract, modify, then dump.

We were extracting from the database, but what you saw in the software was not what you got from the data base. Our BOMs were fricked too. I fricking hate inventory! I can handle the accounting stuff but every month inventory is fricked up right now.

All BOMs? Are they consistently fricked or no pattern? What was your ira before the conversion? Just curious how much the system is contributing.

Eta: GD you for this

A lot of our problems are computer software illiterates and self inflicted, but in our conversion the old software probably ate about $60k in costs. Not sure what ira is?

Companies get used to data in a certain way and matching that for the board package is tough to do when you switch.
