Why does BR not have a Krystal/white castle?

For some reason I've been craving those burgers for days and have no way of getting them. I know they're terrible but Im still craving them. Seems like one of those chains would do well in a college town.

One pretty close to campus would likely do well. I can't stand them though. Awful.

NO food is terrible if YOU crave it. F what anybody else thinks. If you like a particular junk/fast food, eat it. Just eat it occasionally. (Once or twice a month isn't going to hurt you)
Doesn't surprize me though, that there are no Crystals in BR. Many companies don't care to do business in Banana Republics.

The theme that needs to be reiterated in just about every thread here.
I know White Castle isn't premium beef or any other high quality ingredients and it surely isn't better than a burger from Lagers or any other good burger place. However I still love them.

Even by garbage fast food joint standards, Krystal and WC is some really bad bad food.

If so I haven't had it since I was a kid
Mr. Ronnie's donuts in Houma does their own version of them and I usually pass on them. They make some killer donuts though.

And FWIW the Tastee Donuts in New Orleans sell Krystal Burgers. If you want one that bad there you go.

Yeah, the pickles are almost as big as the hamburger is.
They had a White Castle right next to where I worked when I was living in Nashville some years back. A couple of people who worked for me kept going on about how awesome they thought they were and how great it was they were right next door, so I tried it and WOW.... Aweful is an understatement. Needless to say, even as young as I was back then, I never took their opinions on food seriously again.

I looked into franchising a Krystal in BR a couple years back and they told me they were not franchising at that time and had no plans to open in BR :( I wanted to put it on Perkins and Acadian which would have killed

Sadly true.
1. Someone mentions restaurant
2. Somebody just can't answer the question without commenting that it is terrible
3. Someone else can't ignore the above referenced comment.
And off we go.
I blame most of it on #2. Even if I agree with the comment, I don't understand the need to make it in every single place that they personally don't like.

Every now and then, I get a huge craving for a double Krysal, hold the onions. Getting them without onions is the key to avoiding stomach issues.
Btw, the double BA burger at Krystal is one of the best fast food burgers on the market.
Now, let the F&D Board tell me that I really don't like them, and I'm mistaken.

go to the freezer section in wal-mart. i know they sell them six to the pack. its not white castle,but should calm your fix
