I've been. It's great if you love meat. My advice is to stay away from the salad bar and just focus on the protein. Might want to take a statin when your done.

Is that the place where the tables have a little flag pole that you raise the flag on it to signal the waiters that you need more of that over salted meat?

If so, no I will not be trying it out.

I know ruzizle. It's not the most pleasant experience. The last time I went, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was about to die of thirst. I think I was cramping up in my sleep.

I have never overwhelmed by the Foge type concept. While the "meats" keep coming, none of them are really hot by the time they get to your table and it doesn't have the "sizzle" of a good steak house steak.

I've never been to one of these Brazilian steakhouses until this weekend at Chima in Ft Lauderdale. It was tasty but those meat sweats are a real thing.

I went Texas De Brazil about a year after they opened here in BR. I got the meat sweats. Later we went to watch Molly Ringwalds at the varsity and i puked in my hand from being too full.

Side Note: A family member is a manager at de Chao. We plan on going relatively soon.

I think it's a medallion on the table that you flip over.

A flag might be one of those Mexican all you can eat joints.

In any event, Fogo de Chao is by far the best of these types of places. The salad bar and wine list is also very good.

Perfect for one of those Viking weekend feasts.
