I love watching that guy prepare anything. He cuts fruit and just about anything the way my grandfather did.

His knife skills are amazing.

This thread is hilarious.

Currently, it is Rene Redzepi

Top five after RR in no order
Chang
Keller
Roca
Aduriz
Humm

All these are if we are talking currently working. If just talking alive; Robuchon, Adria, Blumenthal.... Etc..

Paul Bocuse.

Ferran Adria, Heston Blumenthal, Alain Ducasse, Thomas Keller. Also a big fan of Norman Van Aken.

I love Link and Besh, but that's obviously biased.

From what I've seen Ramsay and Pepin are pretty damn good.

This is pretty much the agreed upon answer for anyone in the culinary world, though I have a hard time defining "best."

But yeah, if you ask just about any chef what's the best restaurant in the world, they're going to say "Noma."

Great list of others as well.

I'd put Martini as a top ten.

Redzepi? You have to be joking. Foraged wild herbs and burnt carrots? I'll pass.

Better question is, which chef if you could only pick one, would you want to cook every meal for you for the rest of your life. Redzepi doesnt make anyone's list under that criteria.
