re: LSU Tight ends should be an improved unit in 2016 - Jeff Goldblum
Tight end is one of the toughest positions to judge when recruiting. Consider how many schools passed on Ladarius Green. He went to ULL and now has been in the big boy league for 5 years....

re: "The delegate system is rigged." - Jeff Goldblum
Rigged to me means that ANY delegates are chosen by means other than popular vote. It gives too much leeway to party insiders. At least the GOP is much better than the dems. I really feel sorry for Crazy Uncle Bernie. He never stood a chance from Day One....

re: Gnats!!!!! - Jeff Goldblum
Every 3 years or so they get bad in the inland parts of the state. Seems like they disappear when the mosquitos show up in force. Ive used a bottle called Swamp Swatter which is based on vanilla extract. Cant seem to find it in stores, but it used to be at Academy. Something about vanilla they ...

Is it really over? - Jeff Goldblum
We do have 2-3 more schollies to give, right? Sci Martin still available. Caleb Kelly hasn't LOI'd yet. What about JUCO LBs that might be available? I hear there are some tremendous athletes in Russia that play rugby. Project LBs, but fast and strong as any here in America. It's never ov...

re: Layton garnett to lsu - Jeff Goldblum
If Garnett has great instincts, he'll get lots of playing time later on. Do NOT underestimate instinct and motor! Luke Kuechly, perhaps THE top linebacker in the NFL, wasn't all that fast out of high school. Even in the pro day, I think I read where he ran a 4.67. A kid that can run 4.4 but takes ...

re: SUV options, preferably not crossover.... LR discovery sport? - Jeff Goldblum
All the current SUVs are gay. Not like the way they were once made. That could do a real job, go hard places and pull a tractor. Anyone who drives one of these new SUVs is gay. Oh, wait I drive one. Aw shit!...

re: Lindsey Scott commits to LSU per Jimmy - Jeff Goldblum
Addressing 3 issues: 1. Re. choosing LSU over Harvard. Harvard is a great school, but depending on career choice. If Scott pursues engineering, a masters at Purdue trumps anything from Ivy. 2. Re. height. If Scott is as good as Tyler was, he'll be very good. If he's as good as Wilson, lights out...

re: I keep forgetting that Ben Carson is still running - Jeff Goldblum
Huckabee will stay as long as he wants. No one can stretch a campaign dollar like he can. If he could do for the federal government what he does for his own campaign, we'd have a balanced budget in a year...

re: Go on record about Trump skipping the debate... - Jeff Goldblum
Whether it's a temporary win or not, Trump is a doomed candidate. His solid support is about 20 percent. He's benefitted from a large diverse field of candidates. But once they start to drop out and solidify around 2 or 3 survivors, the race will be much tighter. In the meantime, the Time Bomb th...

re: Is Lindsey Scott done growing - Jeff Goldblum
Wasn't there a basketball player who grew 8 inches after high school and went from a guard recruit to playing center? If I recall, neither of his parents were close to 6 feet tall. Likewise, what are the chances that Scott gets shorter?...

re: Maryland Offers Lindsey Scott - Jeff Goldblum
Lets set this straight. QB depends on the type of offense. For a pro style like we run, its much better to have a QB with some height to clear over linemen. In an option offense height isn't much of a factor. In fact, I would argue that being over 6-4 in an option offense is worse than being 5-10....

re: Protecting Citrus From Freeze - Jeff Goldblum
We raise citrus here in North Louisiana. Cover the plants with pine straw during the day. You can leave it until the weather gets milder. Protecting the trunk is the key, especially for young trees. Some new varieties like Orange Frost can handle 15 degrees with no protection....
