More money than sense. I would love to try it, but I wouldn't go to that extreme (at least not on my own dime).

1PD Crown Hand Selected Barrel. I really like it. For sure on the sweet side, if you like Angels Envy Rye you will like this. Obviously not as good, doesn't have the gingerbread notes, but the first sip reminded me of it.

If you like a sweet rye, I'd give it a try

Walked into Marcellos for their new Barrel select Angel's Envy, bumped into another poster in the parking lot, and left with an extra bottle. Thanks baw! And the AE is damn good, they did a nice job blending this one.

I would have to agree with you on the Pendleton. I know it's frowned upon in this establishment, but I enjoy it. A friend of mine brought me a bottle last Christmas and it didn't last long. It became my everyday sip there for a while. I have since reloaded.

Do opened bottles "go bad?" Or do they pretty much keep for a long time?

BRBS, thanks for coming out tonight. We were more than happy to have y'all. It was a great time. We should have our barrel of High West Double Rye (blend of 16 year Rye and 2 year Rye) aged an additional 2.5 years in MGP Bourbon barrels coming in late August. Also things of note... lots of Bourbon.

We had a bunch of great stuff. Next time we will have to give y'all a bottle to raffle off!

Thanks again!

With Weller 12 being a ghost I've heard a few people comment that corner creek is another poor mans pappy. I definitely enjoy it

We wanted to say thanks to everyone coming out last night! I know everyone had a blast. We have a great group of bourbon/whiskey guys in this town.

Also a big shout out to The Cove, thank you for hosting us. Y'all have a killer selection of the brown juice. It's definitely the best in town! And man, that Sour Mash is so tasty. I know a group of us almost took that bottle down, awesomeness.

Can't wait for August so we can get together again! For the guys that came last night, were y'all satisfied with everything? Is there anything we need to change? Any advice helps us so please share your thoughts.

If kept out of direct sun and intense heat they will last a long time. However, they won't get better with age like wine. A whiskey is as good as it gets when it goes in the bottle.
