Really? Figured yall would've gotten it a little earlier than us. That's how it usually seems to be distributed. But from what I saw, we didn't get much. But if you get a chance, by all means get a pour. The 2012 was previously my favorite, but I think this one is just as good. Edit: Doc coming ...

Had to tame the heat from the GTS. Enjoyed this too much last night not to have another. 2PD ...

Damn, Galveston came through. I'm impressed. And since I'm havin more trouble posting pictures than Charlie Sheen has staying sober and monomagous in a King's Landing brothel, I'll just say I'm joining the GTS bandwagon with a pour of the '12 variety. Stuff is so good, only second to WLW in the BT...

I told you yesterday that Obama screwed up the new apple update, that's the problem. Where did you get that mint syrup? I found a "mint julep" mint plant at All Seasons in town. Not sure it's any different than the ones we have. ...

If that number is right, pretty sure we'll all be sampling it at the local watering holes. Hopefully this juice isn't quite that scarce to come by. But if so, it may be the replacement for the Tornado bottles we've been looking for. And that baby Saz, you really can't beat it at that price. It won...

After a few Sierra Nevada IPAs and Abita Spring IPAs, drinking my finally ready 50:50 Poor man while watching the Tigahs. Edit: Compared 50:50 to 60:40 last night. I much prefer the 60:40 (it was an eyeball test measurement). That being said the 60:40 has been mixed for over a month and the 50:5...

Here's the real question...how does that new truck's GPS get so turned around that you end up at that french prick's place? But for anyone still asking, besides Albertsons and Winn Dixie, Phillipe's is the other hot spot in town for bourbon. :pimp:...

re: Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch appreciation thread - DeadBirdPetey
Never have myself. I always thought that was more of a brandy sniffer. But I sure wouldn't turn one down  Edit: After quite a few Abita Spring IPA's, drinking an Old Scout Smooth Ambler Rye 7 y/o. Still think this is damn good juice for the price. ...

Tannehill, most of us let them sit for at least 2 weeks before actually pouring. Make sure you mix really well to blend them initially. I've noticed at after a month of sitting I actually prefer it to 2 weeks. Not sure if it's a mental thing or actually is. I just mixed a 50/50 mix last week to do...

Picked this up at the local Lafayette Albertson's. Doing a side by side with last year's ETL and Blantons. This is after a few hours at tap room ...

Using "great" to describe Benchmark is the most loosely means to utilize that word. Aside from the price, I have not found any comonality between that product and anything close to a description of great. Hell, Miles wouldn't even describe it as "quality". ...
