It is quite possibly one of the easiest things to make yourself

Calvin's also if you're in BR.

I buy Palmetto with jalapenos all the time, though. It's very good for a commercial brand.

Thanks y'all. I had been to Rouses and was disappointed they did not have any. I'll try the posted suggestions

This is good stuff. I like the smoked Gouda at Whole Foods. But my wife makes it at home so I'm good with hers.

This. Literally takes 10 minutes, which includes shredding the cheese yourself.

It's basically 5 ingredients
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Mayonnaise
Tabasco
Cayenne
Roasted red peppers (I use pequillo)

You can even cheat and buy shredded cheese and a jar of roasted peppers to save time.

I knew it couldn't be that hard, but had never taken the time to find a recipe. I'm definitely making this soon

Agreed-shred your own cheese. Makes a big difference. Bags of shredded cheese have that powder ingredient to prevent caking. Shredding takes no time.

Was in Calvin's Bocage Mkt. last week before heading to the beach to pick up chicken salad. They had a special pimento cheese - I think it said "Lauren's special pimento" - I got some and it was delish. They also had their regular store-made too. The "Lauren's" was also store-made.
