Add Winn-Dixie to that list, as well as on tap at the Londoner. I wonder if they do growlers...hmmm...

Don't.

It's a malt beverage product and it's not good.

Just go with Abita Strawberry if you want something berry-ish.

I've got it on tap and just about everyone likes it better than the Abita.

BTW, OP, Winn Dixie has it in bottles.

Pretty sure Strawbita is a malt beverage product too.

Other than one being an ale and the other a lager, they are very similar in that they both add strawberry puree to thier beer. Covington is an ale while abita's is a wheat lager. Not sure why you think one is a malt beverage but not the other.

Count me among those who like the Abita version better. I've tried the Covington/Heiner Brau version a ton, but there's just something about it that isn't right.

Chimes has it on tap. Almost tried it Saturday night, but didn't get around to it.

I prefer Covington.. before I knew of it I wished Abita's had a bit more Strawberry to it and Covington has that.

I was disappointed in the Covington, not a fan of the finish.

It's hard to see, but near the bottom there's a line in black ink that reads...
"Malt beverage with natural flavors added"

Read it myself last time I had one in my hand.

ETA: The Abita Strawberry also says Malt Beverage, fwiw.

You are correct sir. But the Abita seems to taste like good beer with a little Strawberry flavor. The Covington tastes like average beer with a little strawberry flavor

Covington seems to specialize in average tasting beers. I keep wanting to like them since they are a local brewery, but I haven't found one yet that I've liked enough to drink on a regular basis. They're kinda like the anti-NOLA. I haven't found a NOLA beer that I don't love.
