re: Personally owned property vs LLC Rental Question - Htown Tiger
Thanks atom. Good advice and good to know. I think I may investigate this property manager solution and see if I can just get something drafted up to establish those rights. I do understand that it wont shield me from anything (I'll have an umbrella policy anyway), it was more of just not having my ...

Personally owned property vs LLC Rental Question - Htown Tiger
Question for any real estate gurus: If I own a piece of property under my name (since the bank wouldnt loan the money to a newly established LLC), can I still rent it under the LLC name? Meaning, I just want the rent agreement to be between the renter and the LLC vs the renter and myself. I doubt it...

It's more about how easy other things would be- like 2 kids soon to be starting catholic school. It would help a ton there. But I dont thin...

How do you measure/quantify non-monetary benefits against the dollar? - Htown Tiger
For those that have taken less money opportunities, curious to hear how people weigh or measure the "other benefits" against the money they are missing out on - whether that be more enjoyable job, less of a commute, better quality of life, or even a better job even though its less pay. I'm strug...

re: Buying a cheap car - Htown Tiger
I have a 07 Accord with $103k miles on it, single owner, no wrecks, no problems, and I can't get any bites at $6k. I thought that was reasonably priced, but I guess market is telling me otherwise. So I have to sell this for something in the 5k, then yeah i would say there should be similar decent de...
