I go back and forth between, Kung Pao Chicken, Genral Tso's chicken and Mu Shu Pork. I must always have potstickers, though.

Luckily we have a super legit Chinese restaurant in Auburn, so I always go with siu mai (ground shrimp and pork dumplings). Pork fried noodles are also a staple.

Pork fried rice and wonton soup. I just eat the wontons, don't even frick with the soup. Pork fried rice is glorious when done right.

Although I'm a meat eater, I love "Buddha's delight" which is a vegetarian dish featuring deep fried tofu. Thumbs up on China House on Coursey.

A good egg drop soup a must, with green onions and fried wontons.

Other than that, if the take out place isn't a cookie cutter run of the mill pedestrian place and offers duck, I'm getting duck anything.

Yes indeed. A very good dish when cooked properly. It's perhaps the best thing on Hunan's buffet for instance.

Moo Goo Gai Pan, though I recall reading somewhere that it is an Americanized version of a Chinese dish.

Which is almost 100% of those cookie cutter pedestrian "Chinese" take out places.
