My favorite in a restaurant is the Asian Vinaigrette at Bistro Byronz. So awesome I have to restrain myself from licking the plate.

I don't eat many salads at home but I don't mind a good bottled Italian. Right now we have Cardini's Italian and its very good.

All time favorite is the homemade 1000 island from Soileau's in Opelousas. Other than that, blue cheese or real italian

I don't really get into labeling things as my "favorite," but I have been really enjoying at home lately: EVOO, balsamic, minced garlic, salt, pepper, brown sugar. Toss it w/ broccoli, tomato, red onion, and feta. Awesome.

When I make a salad I don't use any dressing. No salt. No pepper. Just veggies and maybe some grated cheese. My wife thinks I'm nuts but why put all kinds of crap on it to hide the tasTe of beautiful raw veggies?

Hard to beat a good ranch, but sometimes I'm really wanting a sundried tomato vinaigrette.

A good blue cheese.

Caesar isn't too shabby.

Sometimes a simple vinaigrette.

My favorite homemade.

Sensation Lime Dressing
3oz lime juice
1oz White Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup canola oil
3/4 tsp fresh minced garlic

Shake well. Gets better after a day or more.
