Good responses all around. Out of all of them, this would be my craving.

We always fry on the balcony one night; frog legs, backstrap, specs, calamari, okra, and fries.
Always like to boil one night; bring a large stock pot, royal reds and stone crab claws as the preference. Babyback ribs in the oven are an easy meal. To come in from the beach early, shower, prep and cook an oven jambalaya or dirty dirty rice in the a/c is always a good break from the heat and sand. To add one more, prep about 100 bisque heads before the trip and freeze, then whip up a crawfish bisque at the beach; they'll love you for it.

Also, crawfish or shrimp casadillas are pretty easy for a group. To add another, you could do a casual finger food supper, with crackers, cheese, cream cheese and pepper jelly, boudin, hogshead cheese, and a few different sausages.

Iconic beach meal. Put the Doritos inside the sandwich, of course.

Funny you say this. Since I was a kid, something about swimming always makes me crave a bologna and cheese sandwich.

When I'm at the beach, I want to eat seafood for most meals. I might eat chicken salad or something like that for a quick lunch, but at night, I want seafood.

I would get a bunch of royal reds, boiled shrimp and crabs with corn and potatoes, maybe marinate some crab claws and steam some artichokes with melted butter for dipping. A platter of sliced homegrown tomatoes and a fruit salsa like a mango salsa as sides would work, as well.

Fish tacos are good if you want to do more actual cooking. Grouper sandwiches are good, too, with fresh cut fries.

Last time I went to the beach and had to cook I made a huge pan of baked ziti with meat sauce, some garlic bread, and gallons of red wine.
