I've known this guy for a few years, and I've always suspected that his diet was complete shite. I finally asked him about it, and here's what he eats:

He makes a loaf of bread every morning on Monday-Thursday. in his bread, he puts sunflower seeds, almonds, and spinach. The loaf finishes baking around 4pm when he gets home from work. He is also an alcoholic - not admitting it though - and drinks at least 6 beers every day of the week along with scotch on the weekends. That's ALL he eats on Monday-Thursday. Bread and beer.

On Friday, he waits for dinner to eat anything, and he eats a steak with his girlfriend, some kind of vegetable that she cooks, and a salad. He says he'll eat a "few steaks" on Friday nights.

On Saturday, he does the bread thing again, but he says he's usually hungover from Friday night and won't eat much until Saturday evening when he goes out drinking again. He said he eats a lot of nuts before he starts drinking because they "help with the whoozyness."

On Sunday, he and his girlfriend smoke a whole chicken to make tacos with fresh pico. He'll also eat some kind of breakfast food at a local diner on Sunday mornings.

He's a bit of an odd guy. Very, very regimented. Takes one vacation a year to the same condo on the same beach. Works a lot. Has his whole week structured - Wednesday is Netflix night kind of thing.

Sometimes I think he has some form of high functioning autism, and I definitely think so after hearing about his strange eating habits.

Well, obviously? I mean, I made a post about him and all. You don't think his diet is strange?

So he never changes up his food routine to go out to dinner/him and his girlfriend never deviate from their weekend menu? That's so boring.

No kidding. He and I have actually talked about eating out before. He doesn't like how "greasy" restaurant food is.

Food is one of my passions and there's a big social component to it. I could never date someone who only eats one type of cuisine or someone who is so narrow-minded about food that they're not willing to try new things--and it usually translates to other areas of life as well.

I recall the Jackie Gleason diet. It was based on monotony. You could eat anything you wanted but only on the day designated.

IE, let's say you liked steak, potatoes, and pizza.
On Monday you could only eat steak. Nothing else.
On Tuesday you could only eat potatoes.,etc.

The monotony caused loss of appetite. Jackie lost weight ...died at 71, not that unusual for a male in those days.

Most of the world's 6 billion people eat an unvarying diet due to poverty...beans n rice morning noon & night (or beans n chapatis, beans n tortillas, beans n potatoes, depending on the culture & climate zone). Staple starches supplemented with small amounts of vegetables & even smaller amounts of protein are the worldwide norm if we are honest enough to include all of the world's poor in our examination of foodways.

I'm not saying it's fun...but his "loaf" made w/nuts and spinach must be enough calories to keep him going, along with the sugar calories from the alcohol and weekend protein binges.

He might like to join the "food replacement" trend, a bunch of techie/lifehacker types are peddling Soylent pun intended) as a replacement for the "tedium" of cooking & eating: LINK

What does this guy weigh? What's his body type? Bread and beer for 4 days is a shite load of carbs and no protein. I'd imagine him being a fat arse.
Then the overload of protein on Friday and Sunday would cause even more fat retention.
So again. How fat is this guy?

ETA: People think my "diet" is weird. But I think it's because I can eat whatever and I still keep abs.
Science brah

Knew a guy in college, ate Chick-fil-a, Taco Bell, or Arby's almost everyday for two years. He finally got a girlfriend that cooked for him.

well, no need to worry, sounds like he already has a girlfriend and is happy with what he's got.
