What is this about?

I envision something like District Donuts.

They seem like really good people, and seem to be doing well.. but there's no way in hell I could eat one of those either.

I do know they offer savory sandwiches and their pie shop offers savory pies, which may be more my speed if they're a good enough size for the money.

Of course, I wouldn't say that I "don't get" people' affinity for sweets. That's more me being the odd ball for not really being into it.

I would devour those donuts.

I love sweets.

I couldn't eat a whole one of any of the flavors, but I could handle some bites of the "spice".. or maybe a bite of "wedding cake". Chocolate and bacon and stuff like that? No way

Some day when you are a fat old guy you can.

Of course I don't eat them now so I'm only old and not fat.

Ah, I've never seen anything like that, but if I had, the last thing that would enter my mind was some way to speak negative about it or the people who may eat it. It's expected from that poster though.

It's not a weight thing. I love greasy food, and I eat like crap.

I can't handle the sugar rush and just don't like the taste of those types of things.

Loved it as a child.

Like hungover? Best hangover intake in the world.

I have to drink it pretty quick, though. Once the ice melts and it gets 'watery' I have to dump it.

And I'm not a huge fan of tomato juice.

All three of these statements, I agree with. I crave one badly when I'm hungover. But I agree.. water bottom of it. Bleh.

And I don't really drink tomato juice either.

Eggs alone and not in something and Calamari.

Guess it's a texture thing for me.

Pimento cheese. I've tried to like it, but it just doesn't do much for me at all.

I love it. It's blissful misery. I read somewhere that when you eat really spicy foods, your brain releases endorphins and stuff to help kill the pain, and that's why some people love very spicy things.

I'm with you there. I'm good for a piece of cheesecake a couple of times a year, but cookies, cakes, donuts, etc... I don't eat much of them. I've never really had a huge affinity for sweets.
