Great northern beans with ham and cornbread with butter.

Mamma Bear soup with buttered cornbread.

Coffee and sweet potato pie

Baked sweet potatoes, mixed turnips, mustard and collard greens with fried pork chops and cornbread with butter.

Wife's chicken and dumplings with buttered cornbread.

Chicken pot pie with buttered cornbread.

Dried black eyed peas, cabbage slaw, ham steak and buttered cornbread.

Roast and gravy over toast with mustard.

Chowder

Eating out: Pho (I am a tendon and rare steak guy)

At home: French onion soup, baguette, lots of red wine.

(I used Meridian Dog's recipe with minor variations)

It looks like grizzle off a steak. It doesn't look appetizing. It tastes incredible. It "gives" very easy and has a rich taste. Try it or not. I'll try damn near anything once. I would get strictly tendon but I also love rare red meat equally; I think they make a great pair.

You could have simply replied with "food".
