Glad you know what that is. Not many people do. I will regret this sugar rush in the morning.

Mostly leftovers - was empty the refrigerator night.

Good eating.

Boiled whole Irish potatoes with white sauce, English peas (from frozen), steamed fresh asparagus, broccoli rice cheese and picante sauce casserole, cornbread with butter, Ice Tea and ground round.

Will have blueberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream (later) if my stomach says yes sometime before bedtime.

ok, had a chance to try some of puses hhc tonight with some good ole saltines. we've had a hog head cheese battle of words for about a year, and I met him in a very dangerous and seedy part of baton rouge to pick up some of his cheese. the texture was very traditional, very similar to my grandaddys, lots of gel with meat ground small. less vegetables than the Otis/geauxt mixture, but with a strong spicy seasoning that I really enjoyed. long story short, there will need to be a showdown with much hhc on a table, possibly with saltines and malted beverages. I'll call it a tie, for now.

He's calling a tie only because he wants more testing to be done.

I live up in the Coon Pecker Point bottoms and he lives way south and east of me. I have his cheese wrapped in freezer paper in the freezer. he can get it anytime, if there's any left..
