Some nice salmon steaks. I'll sear them ,skin side down, after a rub with olive oil and a little seasoning.Then finish under the broiler with a little lemon juice spritz.Roasting asparagus and dressing it with some bleu cheese to go along with a fresh loaf of ciabatta bread.

Doing v-day tonight.

crab stuffed mushrooms in a sherry/butter suace
French onion soup (did the oven onion reduction)
king crab and snow crab clusters with drawn butter
molten chocolate cake
pomegranet and vodka martinis
champagne (chandon)

Wife just surprised me with a few ramekins of creme brulee that she'd whipped up. Bout to grab the sugar and a torch.

yes, i know the good and bad of this board. i usually hate going to dinner on vday or nye, but wife made our reserves a month ago....because she knows its my favorite spot in town....(and virtually across the street from our neighborhood)

1/2 village bread with sensation and cesear salad

wife had filet oscar
i had my usual med rare ribeye with extra seasoning (because i order it that way everywhere) add roasted garlic and shrooms


bottle +1 of cab


life is realllll good right now. headed for a nap.

grilled a pork loin, mashed potatoes(wife bought a bag of yukon gold and can't remember what she wanted to use them for), and steamed carrots that I made a brown butter sauce for

We had strawberrys with a homemade chocolate sauce,chargrilled oysters, some nice T-bones, and Banana's Foster for dessert. I'm ready for bed.
