What foods have grown on you over time?
I hated peanut butter as a kid, but now I love it. I could put peanut butter on just about anything.

Greens. Hated them as a kid. Now I love them. Collards, turnips, mustards, redfish tops, etc.

Used to hate pretty much everything besides hotdogs and pizza as a kid... Now I'm fat and love everything.

Never was an avocado fan because it was always served in a cold dish. Just had a bacon/avocado grilled cheese w/ cheddar & pepperjack on Texas toast at a local pub. Man, that is some kind of good sandwich !

Asparagus.

Granted my parents served us the mushy canned garbage and I now grill it on super high heat with S&P, good EVOO and lemon. It's a whole new dish.

Greens.

Grew up in a house where we had to eat three bites of everything on our plate. Greens were a rough go.

One of my favorites now.

Beer.

Not kidding. When my dad would entertain guests when I was younger he would offer me an occasional sip of beer and I thought it was the nastiest stuff ever. Now I love it.

I lost 70 lbs about 6 years ago and have kept it off. I literally said f it and tried every food j hated again and forced myself to eat well

Now my favorites are Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, beets, broccoli, sweet potatoes. I can eat them all day long. Marinate and sear in balsamic and garlic. So good

Mustard in any form. I still don't like it on a sandwich, burger, po-boy, etc., but I've learned to appreciate it as an ingredient. Regular mustard is still something I hardly use outside of rubbing down meat for the smoker, but creole, honey, and dijon are all OK with me.
