Digging the label.

Do they have a seperate room/building for for Brett? If not, I imagine that could cause some QC issues in the future with infections.

Seems like something the brand manager of great raft would know.

Its a pretty shitty reflection upon your employer that you come on here and pretend like you dont work there to pump up the brand. Its one thing to push your agenda (ie: commotion is the best pale ale in the state) as an employee, but to pretend like you're just a fan boy? Wow.

Come on man, it's not that serious. I've admitted I have worked at the brewery a long time ago.

Maybe so, but how shameless you and the other brand manager are on here and on facebook has made me lose a ton of respect for Great Raft. Seems like the beer should be able to speak for itself without yall trying to put down other local breweries or create made up rivalries. Cant imagine thats what your bosses are paying you to do.

I didn’t start the thread. I answered a lot of questions that aren’t made public but ones my employer thinks the TD crew deserves to know if asked. These aren’t advertisements or fabricated rivalries. Just me being as open as I can about my brands. Sorry my sarcasm about just being a “fanboy” is lost on you. Pretty sure my employer is universally known. Any concerns can be sent to andrew@greatraftbrewing.com

Have a nice evening.

Eta: I will apologize for starting the FBD thread and not posting again.

Yes. Very cool label. Great Raft does a great job with their labels in general.

This definitely happens a good bit and I really don't understand why it is necessary to promote the Great Raft. If anything, it rubs people the wrong way and tarnishes the brand. I don't see employees for other breweries taking little a jabs at other local breweries on Facebook or other parts of the internet.

And what's interesting to me is that a lot of the knocks on Parish have been related to consistency. Yet, there is a huge color/profile difference with the new batch of Grace & Grit compared to the last batch. Which I'm guessing is in response to people complaining a lot about how malty the last batch was. They obviously made a significant change to recipe, more so than any change in Ghost. And Grace & Grit had already been tweaked before along with Commotion. Not to mention, I heard there were some possible infection issues with Southern Drawl at recent event in Lake Charles. So I really don't understand the consistency jabs.

Yes. "Huge" is not overstating it. Those are 2 radically different beers.

Which G&G batch is this? I'm finally interested in trying it again depending on the price point.

Commotion is easily the best American pale ale in the state

As for best double IPA, it's a toss up between ghost and g&g

It might be the best, but it's by no means "easily" the best.

Ghost is easily the best double india pale ale in the state. And in this instance, easily is used correctly.

Just another big bottle of local beer to collect dust at the local grocer.

I knew we had a bunch of new money ciceronies and Nora McGunnigles but didn't realize brewery employees posted here too. Do breweries buy back their old shelf turds ? It seems supply has out weighed demend for packaged craft beer in my town. All the local breweries have big bottles of beer just collecting dust. I'm sure the Oceans Between will look good on the shelf right between the Awkward Uncle and Grand Reserve.
