I picked up a bottle at Bin Q about 30 minutes ago. They had a 1 bottle per customer limit, and it was $11.99/bottle.

What a surprise, a Great Raft large format beer with jacked up pricing. Brewery, distributor, retailer, I don't care. Same shite, different day. I tried Oceans the other day at Cooter's. I'll probably grab the kolsch on draft too just to say I did. Until something changes in regards to pricing for whoever is screwing us, I'm done buying their stuff retail.

FYI, I bought the kolsch bombers for $6 yesterday.

Also FYI, the price is in the process of getting corrected. Honest mistake. It should be closer to that $7 price.

Yeah. Lindsay said on facebook, I'm sure you saw it, that the kolsch wasn't expensive to make so the price reflected that. I guess that means their other brews are more expensive to make. They need to cut some costs, I guess. The quality doesn't justify the price tag, at least for me. But I'm just one consumer. Clearly they're moving product and it's not shelfturding away.

No way I personally want to drink 22 oz of a kolsch in one sitting -- I'm not a huge fan of the style. Can that shite. That's pool beer.

And Salmon,

I'm done bitching about Arkansas beer, there's not a lot of point. I have said it before, I want to be a fan, but I have real issues with their business model. I understand that there are strategic reasons for their decisions, but it still is crappy from a consumer perspective. Ultimately that's what I am. I'll gladly resume drinking their beer when it's appropriately priced (and packaged) for what it is. Or not. Either way. Losing my money isn't gonna bankrupt them.

It's super crushable. Nelson hops make it really nice. Easy to drink.

Agreed that I'd prefer cans, but I understand why the economics dictate that they can't right now.

Pretty sure the kolsch bomber is either $10.99 or $12.99 at Bin Q. I saw it but passed. I like to try these one off beers, but they are screwing some people with the prices. Bin Q has some high prices, which is why I normally don't shop there, but its the only place I could find these 2. I like to buy these one offs once, but I refuse to buy another until the price goes down. Especially when the alternatives are just as good and cheaper.
