ive only gotten the strip once. when i was younger and didnt really know any better, i got the filet. as i got older, the ribeye was the main choice.

The bone-in ribeye at Little Village has been legit every time I've had it.
I've never had an issue with LV like most here have, but I go solely for Italian dishes because I think they do a great red sauce.
I disagree HUGELY with you about Carrabas though. I'm not big on many chains, but of the few I like, that is not one. I gave them two visits in 1-2 weeks, and both were so bad that I'll probably never go back again.
Their new commercial about giving you an entire second plate of food if you finish your first and are still hungry cracks me up.

Hmmm, I always order the Scotty Thompson app (red sauce w/ chevre and fresh basil served with fresh bread), and the sirloin marsala w/ cavatappi and I've never been disappointed.
Oh well, to each his own

In no particular order
Lagniappe
La Reyna
Bay Leaf (would be No. 1 if ranking them)
Sushi Yama
Nino's
Beausoleil
Ruffino's
Albasha (edited to add it...genre completely slipped my mind)
Now I'm struggling...lots of places can take the final two spots, but I hate to include them in a "top" list for various reasons.
Ruth's Chris
Flemings
(don't go enough to either...even if I was Warren Buffet rich, I usually prefer a more casual experience in dining)
Mama Della's
Another Broken Egg (maybe)
Ichiban
Koto
I'm really struggling now to think of a place that stands out enough to even be candidates. Love Thai and Viet food but I don't think we have a strong enough representation here to include any.
HM goes to Gino's, where I still haven't been (hey, only been here since 08). Perhaps also to Stroube's, which I hear good things about, but haven't been to yet.
