Hmmm, I always order the Scotty Thompson app (red sauce w/ chevre and fresh basil served with fresh bread), and the sirloin marsala w/ cavatappi and I've never been disappointed. Oh well, to each his own ...
There was also no "Timmy" in this movie like there was in the script :wah:...
I always end up falling for the NY strip at Ruths :banghead:...
The bone-in ribeye at Little Village has been legit every time I've had it. And I could easily say the same thing to you about Juban's... very inconsistent, IMO....
Looks like one of those street performers in New Orleans......
Can't believe someone posted a few days ago that MS Gulf Coast>>>New Orleans when it comes to food ...
In the original script, the horse didn't do the prance; he simply taught it how to bow its head like Fritz. That was enough for me....
If someone would just open a daiquiri shop/grill right there on the curve it would make a killing. SHENANDOAH DAIQUIRIS or WHITE OAK DAIQUIRIS or whatever. All the people on their way home from work would stop for a drink, plus it'd be a great local hangout at nights and on weekends....
Auburntiger, I worked there during the 90s as well. It was a great place to work. What is your brother's name? I probably know him....

I also thought that Jonah Hill was going to take the role of Scotty when Sacha couldn't do it, but in the end they just gave him a smaller role as Baghead #2 or whatever. It's also funny how people say the ending sucked, when in actuality, that wasn't the original ending. Tarantino changed...
Great film, although I actually think they edited out too much from the script. I'm still holding out hope for an extended cut version, such as the Scotty Harmony scenes, ponys, Stephen's torture of Django w/ the hot poker, etc. Rittdog ...
I personally think Willie Mae's is overrated. It's good, but nowhere near best fried chicken. The beans are actually better than the chicken, IMO. Cochon -- definitely get the rabbit (or whatever variety they happen to have) livers on toast as an app. I usually just get a variety of dishes that s...
City of God, with Europa Europa in distant 2nd....
Chocolate Salty Balls, with Simultaneous and Love Gravy in distant 2nd....
My list would include any ten of these: Maison Lacour Mansur's on the Boulevard Delpit's Chicken Shack Albasha Our Table is Bread Rama Ruffino's Thai Pepper Gino's Nino's Little Village Beausoleil Latte e Miele I've never been to Louisiana Lagniappe or Sushi Yama, although I've h...
Wow... I know there are no right and wrong answers, but I found some of these lists laughable. In fact, I decided to finally create an account because of that. Personally I don't care for Flemings at all, due to multiple bad experiences there. I also don't care for some local favorites such as Th...
