I've been battling some symptoms lately, so I wanted some pho. I thought I'd give Tan Dinh a shot since so many on here rave about it. I always go to Pho Tau Bay.

I ordered the rare flank and meatball pho. As far as Pho is concerned, I prefer Pho Tau Bay's a lot better. The pho is too strong at Tan Dinh. I prefer the subtleness of Pho Tau Bay.

My companion ordered egg rolls and the famous wings. She was raving about the wings and they smelled amazing. (I apologize for the small pic.)

I had to try one. I'm glad I did. The flavors or garlic and butter were dancing in my mouth. 9/10. I'll have to try them again.

I also grabbed an avocado tapioca drink on my out. They always hit the spot.

I used to love Tan Dinh and then my Bun was bad last time.

I just discovered Kim Anh's like last week and have been back twice since.
Surprised I never heard much about it before.

I'd still go to PTB before Tan.

The servings at Tan Dinh are ridiculous. It didn't look like I touched my pho.

really, and you would be glad to know I finally was able to park in front of Liberty and give them a try the other day. Since my first attempt going there led to your parking taunts. Lol

I think I hear of Kim Anh but always thought that was the place in Mid City I never really go through that part or Harahan. Usually I cut down Suave or Little Farms.

I've probably talk about Kim Ahn here more than any other restaurant. You should try Oak Oven across the street. A fellow kennerbrah is the chef/owner.

How do the wings compare to Mint's and Ba Chi's?

Never had Ba Chi's.

I prefer Tan Dinh's over Mint's.

The flavor of garlic and butter are outstanding. They do not have as much sauce as Mint's.

The lemongrass wings at TD are even better than the garlic ones.

I noticed that. I'll check it out.
I just had Whole Foods today, I was in a Cioppino mood and don't know many other places that have it.

I'll give them a shot. I wonder if you can order a mix of all three flavors.

This by a mile!

TD has GOAT wings, Ba Chi's are done in similiar fashion though they are generally smaller.

Their rotisserie chicken plate is great as well. It's my sole reason for driving out West to go there. Never cared for their pho.

Agreed--I like plenty of things on the menu at TD, but I don't go there for pho.

Correct again.

TD for wings and non-pho dishes.

KA for Pho.
