I'm having homemade deer tamales covered in homemade deer queso with a couple biscuits to dip right now. Not sure about later.

I'm taking the entire deer I killed last weekend to Mickey Brown's in Houma on Tuesday to get nothing but tamales made.

I asked this in another thread. I'll try here.

What fast-food choice would you make between Church's and KFC? Just those two.

What's in the pan with the eggs, LSUballs?

Is Church's that bad or KFC good? Might have to make a change in recommendations. I'm not buying it so...

Neither are good. They're both just degrees of bad. KFC being less bad.

Kind of what I figured. I might suggest Popeye's, but that will be a tough sell.

Now that you boys mention it, I may bring them some of my venison tamales to eat with the chili.

Hmm. Yep.

I've got a doe at Mickey's being processed into tamales.
They'll be gone by May.

Damn, and I'm eating fried chicken. Well, beggars can't be choosers. I might buy a nice chuck roast and provide an alternative.

They don't have a Popeyes in your parts? How about an Albertson's or Brookshire's?

Of those two, I'd go with KFC mix of crispy and Original. I damn sure wouldn't pass up a Popeye's to do so however.

Boss,
I got a text last night that stated your brother was going to be in NOLA this week on business and wanted to hook up for supper. Are you around to see your brother by chance?
