Yep Giamanco's and a Donald Link restaurant would be great. Preferably Peche 2.

Wat??

Duang Tawan and Rama are my favorites. But Thai Pepper and Thai Kitchen are solid as well.

There were a couple Buds Broilers in BR in the early 80's and they sucked.

My kingdom for a northeastern style Jewish deli and an Italian deli (that's closer to my house than Anthony's, or won't yell at me like Pokie).

Some place that has good ramen, like Noodle and Pie in New Orleans or Ramen Tatsu-ya in Austin.

1. Bring back Ronnie's Ribs.

2. Bring back Montana's.

3. Get rid of all 40 of the poser "Japanese" restaurants in favor of just one that actually knows the cuisine.

True Grade-A NYC, SF, Vanc, LA, Port, Sea, Hong Kong, etc..Chinese restaurant.

Omi, PF Chang, Dim Sum, Hunan,etc..largely mediocre sans certain dishes.

BR's only truly great one/par to the major metro's very best joints in this regard, was MK Wong's Chinese Inn circa 1977ish to 1994ish.

He'll probably re-open it just down the street from the old location, then abruptly close it again only to rinse-repeat a couple years later.
