Headed to to see Garth Brooks on Friday will be rolling in about 4 staying at the superdome Holliday inn. The concert is at 7 can someone recommend a restaurant preferably walking distance. Doesn't have to be fancy. Nice bar would be a plus! thanks in advance!

Supperdome would actually be an amazing name for a restaurant near the Superdome.

That was what I had in mind if nothing else came up on this thread..always have decent food and cold beer can't go wrong at walk ons.. just thought might be missing something I didn't know about. Not familiar with the area.

Hianora by the Supperdome?

I'd hit up Horinoya by the Superdome, but I don't think it's what you're looking for when you say nothing fancy. It wouldn't be cheap.

If the Lucky Rooster were still open, I'd suggest that.

Very true, it is a straight walk and probably won't be as packed as other places.

I think the OP is wanting more of a beer/bar area...but my arse would be at Horinoya, no doubt.
