Anyone have a suggestion for a good place to eat near/in Hammond? In route to Grand Isle and will be in Hammond around lunch.

I love Kirin for sushi. Go there every time I have a meeting in Hammond.

if it's good now they must have changed something because all three times I've tried it the food was terrible. Great place to drink beer though

Last few times I've had the wings, a burger, and I can't remember what else but I remember them all being good. Wings were just a couple of days ago

Y'all have fun at the beer bar. The table service is laughable. They tried to sit our 3 top at a 2 top instead of pulling 2 tables together to make a table that might have enough room for apps and 3 entrees that we intended to buy. The manager was too busy blowing the musician who would start soon to help us get seated so we went to Mariners and had a nice meal and tipped 50% for a cool server.
