My son is getting married in April and I need to start planning the rehearsal dinner.

I will be calling Ruffino's and Parrain's first, because those are my son's two favorites.

I am open to suggestions of other places to try. We will have 42 guests and want to stay in BR.

Parrain's doesn't have private dining.

I've heard really good things about Ruffino's for rehearsal dinners. If I get married in Baton Rouge I'm going to consider it.

I hadn't thought of the Faculty Club. I will check that out. Bride and groom are both LSU grads.

My sister had hers at WaffleHouse on Siegen. I know, not the classiest establishment, but the food and service was top notch.

We had mine at ruffinos. We loved it and still get compliments on it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Brother had his there last year. It was great. About the same size party too. This is your winner.

did mine at Jubans years ago, with approx 80 people. Huge room, great service, easy to work with.......nice projector and sound system for videos, too.

City Cafe. 3 of my friends had their dinner there and it was $18 a person. We had an entire dining room to ouselves. It was not high end but looked classy.
