Not yet...I think Visa will be accepted starting in mid-April.

But for those looking to get their Chase Freedom points...You can use your visa on the costco website just not in the store. I buy the cash cards online and use them in the store

They dont take Visa? Is this all of them or just the one here? What do they take?

Any debit and I think American Express in the store. Again, visa can be used online and they are about to start accepting visa in the store in the coming weeks/months.

Yes, this is what I use when I go. Never had a problem.

This will change this coming summer, COSTCO and American express had a huge divorce recently, they will only accept visa once the transition takes place

I'm almost positive that it will only be Citibank Visa. Not all Visa's. They get into exclusive deals to save on credit card fees. They just broke up with Amex and are moving to Citibank Visa. All debit cards should work there.

I understand why you would think that, but it will indeed be all Visas, not just Citi's.

All VISAs was what I was told when I signed up Saturday. I forget the date though.

Heck yeah! Thanks for the info. We were told last year that it would only be Citi Visa. I'm glad that I will be able to finally use my Chase Visa. I spend a ton at Costco so I want those points! Looks like it will kick off in June. As for recs, like others have stated, the alcohol is great. Brisket and pork belly are the best price in town. The brisket is Prime and beats many places carrying only Choice.

See my post above. I'm in the same boat and this is a viable option until the transition.

I bought tires from them and to get the points I bought them online and then went in to get them installed

Yeah I bought a lot of stuff online to be able to get my reward points. I bought my TV, recliners, and sound bar online. We impulse buy many of the items though so it will be great to be able to use the Visa instead. Fore those that are planting their gardens, they have some big arse planters for less than $10 right now. We picked up four for adding to the container garden.

I thought their alcohol prices were pretty competitive across the board. They did have some high end Macallan Scotch in a locked glass case for about $3,500.

Good deals at sign up: $200 gift card, plus a sheet of coupons that we will use (a free pizza, a free rotisserie chicken, a free 72 ct pack of AA batteries, others)
